National Convention

Louisiana Juniors were in the thick of the awards at Tyler. In The Herdsman quiz, Junior division Ashley Peart, Jeanne Rabalais, Corbin Carpenter all placed well. Lesley Lucas and Ashley McKenzie placed well in the Intermediate & Senior Divisions.

In the Individual Judging, Jeanne Rabalais, Randi Schamerhorn, Lisa Rabalais each had strong placing in their divisions. Morgan Duhon of Maurice, LA topped the Intermediate Individuals Division.

Randi and Chris Schamerhorn teamed with Rob Welborn and Casey Ballard to capture Champion Team Judging Honors.

Kelli Lucas showed her artistic abilities by winning 1^st place in the Six and Under Coloring Contest.

There was an excellent showing in the Public Speaking Contest with eight of our Juniors placing in the top ten of their Divisions. Jeanne Rabalais walked away with top honors in the Junior Division and Courtney Carpenter of Jonesville took Runner-up in the Senior Division.

Dr. Gerald Berenson, Windy Hills Beefmasters was honored for his many years of supporting JBBA. Dr. Berenson received the Helping Hand Award.

JBBA said a fond Farewell to Bruce Lott, former director of association services and junior activities, honoring his nine years of service with speeches and gifts.
