Fever Who are Black Magic and Jungle Fever? We'll break
it down for you: Owned by V6 Ranch and managed by Tim Couch Beefmasters, Magic Fever is a black donor out of the legendary Jungle Fever (the matriarch of the Harrod Farms donor battery) and the father of modern black genetics, Black Magic. Magic Fever has also been crowned Grand Champion female in the largest futurity in the history of the Beefmaster breed (The $25,000 "Winner Takes All" Beefmasters & Bourbon Street Futurity) where she also won the $25,000 check while in competition against dynamic females from across the nation. Magic Fever along with Black Forest (her flushmate sister), are the only two black, polled daughters of the legendary Jungle Fever. Highly respected within the Beefmaster breed, sale and herd consultant Wendell Gibson recently said of these two black sisters, "I don't think you can find any better a female than these two, anywhere in the breed, whether black or red." We agree with him. So, if you are seriously looking for the best genetics, conformation, individual performance and eye appeal available... well, there's nothing better. There are several exceptional females in the breed, but we can say with confidence that there's nothing any better... and the added value these two females can add to your herd and your pocketbook is magnificent. We are pleased to offer embryos as well as live calves out of these two females and sired by Cavalier, Infinity, Mr. Cofee. What more can you ask for? Nothing, actually. This is as good as it gets! Magic Fever and Black Forest both have small (but great!) calves at their sides out of Cavalier. These females are often consider "two peas in a pod" though the pod actually produced four extraordinary individuals as they have a flushmate brother, Black Fever, which is in our AI herd sire battery, and another flushmate sister (Magic Jungle) that is red and equally impresive. As with all our donors and AI herd sires, Magic Fever and Black Forest have been bloodtyped and DNA tested for parentage verification. They have also been color coat tested as heterozygous black.
